Heather Howe RAc

Registered Acupuncturist

Heather graduated from a 5-year DTCM program of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine over 10 years ago, she is a licensed acupuncturist registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA).

Since graduating Heather has continued her studies with coursework in Chinese Medicine herbology and nutrition, fertility and reproductive endocrinology, anatomy, advanced study in Chinese Medicine diagnosis (channel palpation, face reading, tongue diagnosis) and is certified in facial rejuvenation acupuncture. She has also completed the Birth and Labour Doula program at Douglas College.

Heather has extensive clinical experience offering care for a wide variety of wellness concerns – physical injury, concussion or musculoskeletal complaints, pain relief, digestive dysbiosis, anxiety, insomnia, fertility and reproductive health, perimenopause / menopausal wellness, hormonal imbalances etc.. Heather’s approach is gentle and integrative.

Heather has a BFA from Emily Carr University, and a 25+ year history of performance production. Occasionally she helps build a show, event or art work. And occasionally, something she’s worked on tours the world or wins a sweet award. Nice.
