Maggie Ho RAc

Registered Acupuncturist

Maggie is a board certified Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA).  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of British Columbia, majoring in Psychology.

Maggie’s approach combines a thorough and comprehensive intake, working together with her patients towards improving their physical and mental health.  She is a proponent of healing from within and taking the time to properly understand the root causes of disorders in order to advance towards a path of recovery. She aims for quick healing times and is known to send her patients off with at-home care tips to enhance their therapeutic effects.

She has been trained in the Tan Balance Method of Acupuncture. This effective methodology applies classical acupuncture to modern day channel theory, providing effective results and precise point location. Maggie is also certified in Sports Medicine Acupuncture.

Maggie has a passion for women’s health and has recently finished her Complete Pregnancy TCM Protocol Certificate. This technique treats common ailments during pregnancy, in addition to providing support for cervical ripening. Maggie is also a certified Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncturist. This non-invasive acupuncture technique brightens skin, improves muscle tone, increases collagen production, and slows the aging process from within. Her facial techniques are also effective for difficult conditions such as facial paralysis and bells palsy.

When not treating her patients, Maggie can be found around town with her husband, toddler and her two dogs. She also volunteers at the BC Cancer Agency with her two certified therapy dogs. Maggie is a firm believer in giving back to the community and staying active with the Agency.
