Dr. Ally Power ND

Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Ally focuses her naturopathic practice on assisting women to feel like the optimal version of themselves. She discovered her deep passion for naturopathic medicine and helping women through her personal journey combatting fatigue, painful periods, acne and digestive disturbances. She strives to impart the knowledge that she has learned through her personal and professional journey in a clear and empowering way to her patients to give them the energy to do what they love.

Some of the symptoms she supports women with frequently include low energy, trouble sleeping, stress management, anxiety, indigestion, and other digestive disturbances.  Additionally, she has a specific interest in treating hormone disruptions including painful periods, PMS, heavy periods, irregular or long cycles, and other period-related concerns.  Dr. Ally is also a mom and loves assisting other moms through the journey of preconception, through pregnancy and into motherhood.

During a visit with Dr. Ally, she will take a comprehensive history and help identify obstacles preventing you from reaching your health goals. From there, focused physical exams and laboratory tests may be used to create an evidence-based and individualized treatment plan that will seamlessly fit into your lifestyle. She uses the best of both traditional and conventional medicine in her thorough treatment plans. Some treatment modalities she prioritizes are nutrition, nutrient supplementation, herbs, pharmaceutical medications, and lifestyle counseling.

Dr. Ally received her Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree from the University of the Fraser Valley. During this degree, she discovered Naturopathic Medicine, grew extremely passionate about uncovering the root cause of a patient’s symptoms, and continued on to attend the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr. Ally is licensed by the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia, and is a member in good standing of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association, and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Outside of being in the clinic, Dr. Ally is a mom and loves exploring the west coast, trying out new local coffee shops, and nerd-ing out on books about women’s health.
